Network Introduction
MVRK is the native utility token of the Mavryk Network, a Layer-1 blockchain designed to integrate real-world assets (RWAs) with decentralized finance (DeFi). The token is used for network fees, staking/delegation, co-staking/liquid staking, collateralized lending and borrowing, and participating in governance.
Staking MVRK via Simply Staking means you delegate your tokens to a validator (or node operator) on the Mavryk Network, supporting network security and consensus, and in return you earn rewards. The network offers two staking paths: standard delegation and “co-staking” (liquid staking) which allows higher yields while retaining some liquidity.
Specific minimum delegation amounts may be set by validator operators. Rewards depend on the validator’s performance, the total delegated stake, and whether you choose co-staking. According to Mavryk’s announcements, liquid staking/co-staking can offer roughly double the yield compared to standard delegation.
Yes, you can un-delegate or move your delegation at any time, subject to the network’s unbonding or exit conditions. There are risks involved: if a validator is inactive or mis-behaves your rewards may decrease, and the ecosystem is relatively new so launching risk is higher. Also, if you choose co-staking, liquidity may be impacted depending on the protocol’s design.
Rewards are distributed based on the validator’s total stake and performance, your proportion of delegation, validator commission, and whether you participate in co-staking. Mavryk has allocated a large portion of its token supply (over 45 %) to staking incentives and community growth, which supports the reward pool.
The Mavryk Network provides institution-grade RWA tokenization infrastructure, with partnerships and testnet performance showing 110 million+ transactions and over 2.2 million active wallets. However, as a newly launching network, it carries typical early-stage risks: protocol bugs, validator performance variability, and ecosystem adoption. Simply Staking provides a user-friendly interface, but users should still evaluate validator choice and network maturity.
You can refer to the official Mavryk website (mavryk.org), the network explorer (nexus.mavryk.org) for validator/transaction data, and Simply Staking’s Mavryk page which lists current token price, market cap and network info.
