NEAR is a Layer-1 blockchain built for fast, low-cost transactions and easy-to-use decentralized apps. It’s designed to make blockchain technology quick, secure, and simple for both developers and everyday users.
NEAR uses “Nightshade” sharding, which splits the network into smaller sections that process transactions at the same time. This boosts speed and helps the network grow without slowing down.
NEAR focuses on great user experience. Instead of long wallet addresses, you get simple usernames. Apps run quickly, fees stay low, and developers can build without dealing with complicated tools.
The NEAR token pays for transaction fees, is staked to secure the network, and allows holders to take part in governance decisions about the future of the protocol.
Yes. Developers can build smart contracts using Rust or AssemblyScript. These tools help create powerful dApps for gaming, finance, digital identity, and more.
NEAR features a cross-chain bridge called Rainbow Bridge, enabling seamless asset transfers between NEAR and Ethereum.
You can create a NEAR wallet, explore dApps on the network, or develop your own applications using NEAR’s developer tools.
NEAR staking is the process of delegating NEAR tokens to validators to help secure the network and earn rewards.
To Stake NEAR, click on the above Near Staking link to get to the Simply Staking NEAR staking Dashboard. Connect your wallet, and chose the amount to delegate. Verify in your Wallet. You are now Staking NEAR. Your tokens stay in your control while earning rewards. No DeFi lending is required, it’s native staking.

You delegate NEAR to a validator’s staking pool. Validators secure the network and earn rewards each epoch, which are shared with delegators. High uptime and performance mean better rewards for you.
Rewards are issued after every epoch and automatically compounded, so your staking balance grows over time without extra steps.
Simply Staking is operated by an experienced team focused on high uptime, strong security, and consistent rewards. We offer dedicated support and institutional-grade operations to protect and grow your stake.
There’s no fixed minimum. You only need enough NEAR to cover the staking amount plus a small transaction fee.
You can unstake any time, fully or partially. There’s a waiting period of about 4 epochs before you can withdraw your tokens back to your wallet.
We charge a 10% commission on staking rewards to maintain secure validator operations and reliable performance over the long term.
Once your tokens are delegated to a validator and the delegation is active, rewards begin accumulating automatically from the next epoch.
While staking, your NEAR is temporarily locked and cannot be sold or moved until the unstake period ends. Market changes may affect the value of your tokens during that time.
Reward rates change based on network conditions and validator performance, but NEAR’s staking rewards are often around high-single-digit percentages annually. Your actual earnings may vary over time.
