How To Stake Archway

ARCH staking allows users to delegate their ARCH tokens to validators who secure the Archway network, earning rewards in return. By staking, participants contribute to the network’s security and decentralisation while receiving staking yields. This guide will walk you through the step-by-step process of staking your ARCH, from connecting your wallet to selecting a validator and viewing your rewards.

Buy ARCH Token

To stake ARCH you’ll first need to purchase OSMO tokens. A straightforward way to acquire OSMO is through our Binance link, where you’ll receive a USD 600 welcome offer towards trading fees (terms and conditions apply). Navigate to the “Markets” section and search for OSMO. Once you’ve located the OSMO, purchase the amount you desire.

(Terms & Conditions Apply)

After buying OSMO, transfer it off the exchange by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the “Wallet” section in Binance.
  2. Select “Withdraw” and choose OSMO as the token.
  3. Enter your OSMO wallet address (you can find it within your wallet once connected to the OSMO portal).
  4. Set the withdrawal amount and confirm the transaction.

Now that your OSMO tokens are safely transferred, exchange them to ARCH and you’re ready to start staking. A straightforward way to do this is via a Leap Wallet.

First, select the “Swap” button to choose the tokens you wish to swap between:

In this case, we are swapping OSMO for ARCH, review the transaction and get your ARCH ready for staking!

Staking ARCH from Simply’s Dashboard

Access the Landing Page

First, navigate to our landing page at simplystaking.com and hit the “Networks” button below the Berachain banner.

Choose The Network

After you choose “Networks”, you will be directed to our network staking page, where you can choose your desired network (in this case Archway).

Hit the “Stake” button under the “Archway” title, and be directed to Leap’s dashboard.

The UI will show you validator details like the return of Annual Percentage Rate (the amount of yield you will get per year on your staked assets), Commission (% of rewards taken by the validator) and Voting Power (the significance of the Validator’s vote).

Time to stake

In case you are happy with the given stats, hit the green “Stake” button to choose the type of staking (in this case “Plain Staking”) and the amount you wish to stake. We will be staking 1 ARCH.

After you choose the amount you wish to stake, click the “Stake” button and approve the transaction:

As a confirmation, your interface should display the delegation details on the right-hand side of your screen!

You can click the displayed staked amount for more information including the assets staked, rewards generated and the validator profile:

Stake from Archway Connect

As an alternative to staking from SImply’s Dashboard page, you can also stake from Archway’s native portal called Archway connect, which is accessible here: https://connect.archway.io/staking

Access & Connect Wallet

After you enter the landing page, hit the “Start Staking” Button to see the list of validators.

As a next step, click “Connect Wallet” and choose a desired wallet from which you will be delegating your ARCH. We will be using Leap Wallet.

After you are connected, scroll down to choose a desired validator and click the “Stake and Manage” button to delegate funds.

Choose the amount of ARCH you would like to delegate and click the “Delegate” button!

Approve and Monitor

Approve the delegation via our Leap wallet and that is it! You have now put your ARCH to work.

Besides getting confirmation of staked tokens, as shown in the picture below:

You can also always check on your rewards by navigating to the “My Delegates” section located above the validator list. Here, you will be able to see the number of ARCH staked, available tokens and rewards.

Moving Funds to a Ledger Wallet

If you ever wish to unstake your ARCH  and store it securely, you can easily transfer your assets to a Ledger wallet. Simply follow the unstaking process and move your tokens to Ledger for safe offline storage!
